3 Simple Steps

Our proven claims process makes recovering from property damage as smooth as possible:

1

Free Damage Inspection & Consultation:

We start with a prompt, on-site inspection of all damage (at no cost to you). Our public adjuster will review your insurance policy, explain your coverage, and advise on the best next steps.

2

Claim Documentation & Filing:

Next, we document every aspect of your loss – photos, moisture readings, repair estimates, and detailed reports. We handle all claim paperwork and communicate directly with your insurance company on your behalf. You won’t have to worry about the complex forms or calls; we’ve got it covered.

3

Negotiation & Settlement:

Our team negotiates with the insurer to secure the maximum settlement for your claim. We push back against delays or low offers using facts and expertise. You don’t pay anything upfront – our fee comes from the insurance payout, and only when you get paid. In the end, you receive the funds needed to repair and recover, with zero hassle to you.

– Our Services

We Specialize in:

Hurricane Damage Claims

Florida is no stranger to devastating hurricanes. We provide expert hurricane damage claim help from day one – assessing storm damage, documenting every loss, and handling all correspondence with your insurer. Our public adjusters fight to get you the maximum payout for repairs, ALE (Additional Living Expenses), and more after a hurricane.

Wind & Storm Damage Claims

Not all wind damage comes from a named hurricane. Tropical storms, tornadoes, and severe thunderstorms can tear off roofs and soak interiors. We specialize in wind and storm insurance claims – from fallen trees to flying debris damage. Our team ensures your wind damage is thoroughly documented and not wrongfully dismissed as “wear and tear” by the insurance company.

Water Leak Damage Claims

Burst pipes, hidden plumbing leaks, and appliance failures can cause extensive water damage behind the scenes. Your water leak insurance adjuster from our team will identify all resulting issues – including hidden moisture and mold – and include it in your claim. We make sure even long-term leaks (often wrongly denied as “gradual damage”) are properly attributed to a covered cause, so you aren’t stuck with costly out-of-pocket repairs.

Mold Damage Claims

Mold from water intrusion can wreak havoc on your property and health. Unfortunately, insurance policies often have strict limits or exclusions for mold. We help navigate these challenges by proving the mold resulted from a covered peril (like a pipe burst or storm) and documenting the full scope of remediation needed. Our adjusters ensure your mold damage claim is presented with the compelling evidence and expert estimates required for coverage.

Fire & Smoke Damage Claims

A fire can turn your life upside down overnight. Even a small kitchen blaze can lead to pervasive smoke damage throughout your home. We coordinate all aspects of your fire insurance claim – from documenting charred structural elements to inventorying smoke-damaged contents. Let us handle the extensive paperwork and negotiations with your insurer; we work to get your home restored and belongings replaced without delay.

Roof Damage Claims

Florida’s sun, salt air, and storms can all take a toll on your roof. When a hurricane or windstorm causes roof leaks or structural roof damage, insurers often attempt to minimize payouts by blaming pre-existing conditions. Our experts counter that by providing clear evidence of storm-related damage. Whether it’s torn shingles from a windstorm or a leak after heavy rain, we will pursue the full roof repair or replacement coverage you’re entitled to under your policy.

Income Loss

When property damage forces a shutdown, reduced hours, or makes rental units uninhabitable, policies may include business interruption / income loss or loss of rents coverage. We analyze your policy language, quantify lost revenue, continuing expenses, and any extra expenses used to keep operations moving, then present a fully documented claim (financials, leases, occupancy records, and expert estimates). Our adjusters connect the loss directly to the covered peril and negotiate a fair, supportable recovery for the entire period of restoration defined by your policy.

Denied & Underpaid Claims

Has your insurer low‑balled your payout or denied your claim outright? Don’t give up. If you have a denied insurance claim in Florida (or a severely underpaid one), we can often reopen the claim and fight for what you truly deserve. Florida law allows supplemental claims when new evidence is presented – we’ll provide professional estimates, reports, and expert advocacy to challenge the insurance company’s decision. From improper denial reasons to overlooked damages, we know how to turn a “no” into a fair settlement.

Condo/Association Claims

Condo and HOA claims are complex—master policy vs. unit owner responsibilities, common areas, special assessments, and strict timelines. We coordinate with board members, managers, and unit owners to document building‑wide damage (roofs, hallways, elevators, MEP systems, building envelope) and compile consistent estimates, photos, and reports. Our team leads the carrier communications, aligns scope with governing documents and policy terms, and drives the claim to a clear, timely resolution for the association and affected units.

Florida Public Adjusting helped me with my claims when my insurance company denied me saying that my total work was less than my deductible. However, Florida Public Adjusting made sure I received everything that I was due. I am 100% satisfied and strongly recommend them for any insurance claim. I had an amazing experience with this company overall.

FAQ

What does a public adjuster do, and why should I hire one?

A public adjuster is a licensed insurance claims expert who works for you, not the insurance company. We handle all the paperwork, evidence gathering, and negotiations to ensure you receive the full compensation you’re entitled to under your policy. In short, hiring Florida Public Adjusting means you have an experienced advocate managing your claim and fighting for your best interests while you focus on getting life back to normal.

When should I contact a public adjuster about a property damage claim?

As soon as possible. If your home or business has damage (from a storm, leak, fire, etc.), involve a public adjuster early. We can evaluate your loss and help you file the claim properly from the start – avoiding mistakes that could cost you later. However, even if you already filed a claim or received an offer from your insurer, we can step in at any stage (even after a denial or underpayment) to assist. It’s never too late to get expert help with your claim.

How does Florida Public Adjusting get paid? Is there any upfront cost?

We work on a contingency basis, which means we only get paid when you get paid. There are no upfront costs whatsoever. Our fee is a small percentage of the insurance settlement, agreed upon in advance. If for some reason there is no recovery, you owe us nothing – that’s our “No Recovery, No Fee” promise to you.

My insurance claim was denied or underpaid. Can you still help?

Absolutely. We routinely take on denied or underpaid insurance claims and turn them around. Our adjusters will review your claim, gather additional evidence, and file a supplemental claim or appeal on your behalf. In Florida, you have the right to reopen a claim if new information is provided. We have a strong track record of getting insurers to pay out more on claims that were initially low‑balled or unfairly denied.

What types of property damage claims can you handle?

Florida Public Adjusting handles all residential and commercial property damage claims. This includes hurricane and windstorm damage, roof leaks, water damage from plumbing leaks or floods, mold remediation claims, fire and smoke damage, theft/vandalism, and more. No matter the cause of loss, if it’s covered (or should be covered) by insurance, our team has the expertise to manage the claim from start to finish.
